Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipsticks

If you know me then you will know that I love a matte liquid lipstick. I am all about a bold lip and liquid lipsticks just pack the punch I need. My collection is pretty extensive and has a huge array of colours. I have recently fallen in love with Anastasia Beverly Hills offerings so thought I'd update my Liquid Lipstick series.

Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink Lipsticks Purples And Blues

I posted about these liquid lipsticks when I first tried them a few months back. You can check out that post here. I was just going to edit that post and add these shades to it but it would have been a super long read. If you have read that one though you will know how much I adore these lipsticks. They have probably made it to the top spot for favourite formula (and packaging). I am now up to 6 and feel like I just need the whole collection at this point. I have also got Sarah hooked on them and she pretty much has all the shades that I don't. She wears pinks and nudes. I wear purples and darks.

As a lipstick addict, I feel it is my duty to try any new types that are brought to my attention. Me and Jen fell in love with the glitter flips after seeing an Instagram ad last year. We are both huge glitter fans so it was like they were made for us. So much so that we ended up buying each other exactly the same thing for Christmas last year. We both got each other Hollywood which worked out perfectly. I also picked up Iconic because it looked gorgeous and I just love dark lipsticks. It's a weakness.

Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink Liquid Lipsticks

It's no secret that I love a good liquid lipstick. I have honestly lost count of how many I own. I rarely wear anything else. I love a long-lasting colour because honestly, I'm too lazy to constantly reapply. I also absolutely love a bold colour and you can't beat the colour payoff of a matte liquid lipstick. I normally stick to slightly higher end brands because I find the staying power better. My faves are Dose of Colors, Smashbox and Stila. Anastasia Beverly Hills has also started to creep up my list as I am absolutely obsessed with the shade Vintage but that's the only shade I have tried so far. 

However, Maybelline may be about to change everything for me because they have honestly nailed an affordable liquid lipstick that ticks all my boxes. I have also fallen in love with the purples and blues they have to offer

Dose of Colors Lipstick Collection

So you should all know by now that I am a huge liquid lipstick fan. I have tried many brands and have gathered quite the collection. I have done a couple of posts on Dose of Colors (here and here) but I thought I'd give you an updated post on my collection. 

Dose of Colors is probably one of my all-time favourite liquid lipsticks and the day they became available on Beauty Bay was the best day of my life (Not so good for my bank balance). They have a pretty great colour range, although I would love to see more of the "weird" bold shades like blues and greens mainly because I love the formula so much. The colour payoff is amazing, the staying power is pretty damn good and they apply really well. I also adore the packaging. 

Smashbox Liquid Lipsticks

These Smashbox liquid lipsticks are up there alongside Dose of Colors for my favourites. I just love everything about them plus they are cruelty free. So far I only have two colours but I will definitely be adding more to my collection. I just need to decide which shade to get next. Let me know if you have any recommendations

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks

Next up in the liquid lipstick series is the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks. I honestly didn't realise I had so many of these until I started getting them out to list the colours. Quite a few of them were given to me by my Twin Sarah because she won them and already had some of the shades. So once again she was the one to get me hooked. I first fell in love with Stila when I bought the Eternal Love collection ages ago. Baci became my fave go-to nude and I recently had to buy the full-size version. It may be my favourite out of them all.

Ofra Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks

I'm trying to get posts written up on all the liquid lipsticks I own so you can see which are my faves and the best formulas etc. I have a few so this could take a while. Last week I was talking about Huda Beauty Liquid Matte. Todays offerings are the Ofra Cosmetics Long Lasting Liquid Lipsticks, specifically the collaboration they did with Manny MUA. These were supposed to be limited edition but there was so much demand they are now permanent shades.

I am a hugge matte liquid lipstick fan. I would say they make up about 75-80% of my lipstick collection. I can't resist them. I'm super lazy with reapplying and they have the best staying power. They also have such bold colours with the best colour payoff and I am all about a bold lip. Winged liner and a bold lip is my go to look. As I am such a big fan I have managed to gather quite a large collection. So I'm going to work my way through and get some reviews up and let you know which are my favourites etc. To start with we have the newest members of my collection.

Dose Of Colors Nudes

I am a huuuge fan of matte liquid lipsticks. It's safe to say that's pretty much all I wear. I am also a massive fan of Dose of Colors. Too Faced Melted Matte

Liquid lipsticks are pretty much the main thing to grace my lips these days. I just can't get enough of them. When I saw the colours and the packaging of the Too Face melted mattes I wanted them immediately. I patiently waited for them to be released in the UK because I am not about those customs charges. I then started reading some not so positive reviews and decided that maybe I should save my pennies. However, I could not stop thinking about two of the colours so I decided to be reckless, take the plunge and make them mine.

This purchase is 100% entirely Sarah's fault. She text me to talk her out of buying several lipsticks which massively backfired because I obvs told her to do it. I then went onto the site to look at the colors she was buying and accidentally ended up ordering 2 of my own. So I hold Sarah entirely responsible. Total enabler. 

Beauty Bakerie Lip Whips

Ever since I saw Beauty Bakerie lipsticks on Instagram I have wanted to try them but I was not about to pay the shipping from america on top of the $20 price tag. When I saw that Cocktail cosmetics was now stocking them I had to get some. Even their shipping prices nearly put me off. I mean £4.25. Is there any need?

Stila Eternal Love Liquid Lipstick Set

If you don't know Sarah from Sarah in Wonderland then your bank balance is probably much happier than mine. Seriously she's such an enabler. However, she also has excellent taste in makeup and always knows what will suit me. She's my go to when I don't know what colour lipstick to buy and you should totally check out her blog because it's magical.

Sarah told me I needed the Stila Eternal Love Liquid Lipstick set and she was so right. This set satisfies all three of my loves. Nude, Red and Dark. They are all perfect and I'm obsessed with them. Also the packaging is just too pretty.

Lime Crime Velvetine Red Velvet

This was bought for me by one of my best friends for Christmas. I don’t think I have been more in love with a lip product ever. It is a liquid to matte lip stain and it is amaazzing. It dries super matte but it’s not drying and it doesn’t pull or cling to the dry patches. I’ve heard some complaints of it bleeding but I haven’t had this issue. One of my flatmates complimented me on it so many times and couldn’t stop going on about how it actually looked like velvet (he may have been drunk at the time but it still counts).

The Lime Crime Velvetine in Red Velvet has to have one of the best lasting times of all the lip sticks I own. There is very little transfer onto glasses if any and once its dry (few seconds) your good to go. I think I reapplied this once on a night of drinking and even then it was only a little touch up. I do find that with my not so very steady hands it is not the easiest product to apply due to the shape of the applicator but it can quickly be tidied up and the benefits far out-way that one downside.

Extra plus points, I love the packaging and it actually smells like cake or vanilla or something like that. In short it smalls amazing. At £13.50 its a little pricier than I usually pay for a lip product however I definitely think it is worth it.

I am now tempted to get suedeberry and pink velvet. Especially pink velvet. Who am I kidding? Soon these two will also be in my collection.
