Sleek Makeup

I've never really tried much from Sleek before. I have obviously tried the Solstice Highlighter palette and rave about it in pretty much every favourites post. Not only did it make it to my 2016 faves roundup post but it also made it onto my Top 10 Holy Grail products post I did in colab with Sarah. After seeing how much I loved the solstice palette the lovely Niamh asked if I wanted to try some of their other products. She picked out some products she thought I would like and I swear it's like she can read minds. The products she picked are perfect.

Sleek Makeup review
sleek i-Divine All Night Long Eyeshadow Palette
The first product I got was the i-Divine All Night Long Eyeshadow Palette*. Now I don't normally wear eyeshadow. Well I never wear eyeshadow. I have mastered the winged eyeliner but I can't get my head round eyeshadow. All that blending and a billion brushes looks so complicated. However, this year I told myself I was going to give it a go and hopefully conquer it. This palette is a beautiful collection of nudes including creams, golds, browns and that stunning copper shade with both mattes and shimmers. I think this will be perfect for practising. As I know nothing about eyeshadow I can't really review this for you properly but safe to say I love it. The colours blend beautifully and I am in love with the copper and gold shades.

Sleek Precious Metals Highlighting Palette review

Sleek Precious Metals Highlighter swatches
As soon as I saw this Precious Metals Highlighting Palette* my day was made. I have super dry skin (in case you haven't heard me moan about it enough) and I'm finding powder highlights are settling a bit weird. I've been thinking about trying a cream or liquid highlighter so this is perfect. Once again the packaging is gorgeous.

Now onto the highlighters. I am obsessed with Platinum (the white looking shade, top left). It is the perfect shade. It gives me such a gorgeous glow and goes perfectly with my slightly pale skin tone. I tend to apply it with my fingers and find it works beautifully with my dry skin. It just looks so beautiful I can't get enough of it. I think the powder shade (bottom right), Renaissance Gold, is the one I'll get the least use out of because it's a tad on the dark side for me. However, I'm looking forward to summer and having a tan because Royal Gold and Antique Bronze are going to look soo good. I can't wait.

sleek Creme to Powder Blush in Amaryllis review

I'm really lazy when it comes to blush but this Creme to Powder Blush in Amaryllis* is so pretty. It looks really bright in the pan but blended into the cheeks it gives a pretty glow. Another one that I apply with my fingertips and it's so easy and blends like a dream. On the skin it blends to a light powdery effect leaving a dewy satin finish. Also shoutout again to sleek for having such lovely packaging. I love the sleek black compact it comes in.

sleek Matte me Lip Cream swatches

Quite possibly my favourite products of them all. I was kindly sent 3 of the Matte me Lip Creams. As we all know I am a huuge fan of matte liquid lipsticks. I've written about so many different brands and I am so excited to be able to review more for you. The shades I was sent could not have been more perfect. Shabby Chic* is a muted dark pink, Velvet Slipper* is a muted deep plum and Old Hollywood* is an oxblood red. I was expecting Old Hollywood to be my favourite as we know how I feel about dark reds but I think Velvet slipper has stolen my heart. They're comfortable to wear, gorgeous opaque colours and at £4.99 these are such a bargain. I will definitely be picking up some more. I'm going to have a full in depth review up on these and one of the other shades I already owned soon (hopefully Monday) to go with my liquid lipstick series.

Safe to say I have been missing out on so many amazing products. I wish my local Boots and Superdrug stocked Sleek. Downside of living in a tiny town. I will definitely be picking up more though and am now a massive Sleek convert. Let me know your fave products.
