March 2017 Favourites

How is March over already? It's not been a great month for posting. I mean this year so far has been pretty shit for posting in general. My brother was in hospital for nearly 2 weeks this month and I swear I have literally only been in my house to sleep and sometimes not even for that as I've been sleeping at my parents house. I'm hoping to get organised in April and start posting more consistently. Fingers crossed.

March Favourites
Mint Tea

I've recently gone off coffee. By that I mean that it now makes me feel sick and I kinda wanna cry. It's so sad. However, the plus side is that I have so many delicious teas to work my way through which are much better for me. I am obsessed with mint tea at the moment. I am loving my Whittards loose Peppermint tea as well as Twinnings Mint Green Tea. I also had the most delicious chocolate mint tea the other day that I now need in my life. Also tea lovers you need to check out this teapot warmer.

Twinnings Green Mint Tea

Smashbox Always on Matte Liquid Lipstick in Girl Gang // £19

As you know I am obsessed with liquid lipsticks. I rarely wear normal lipsticks and I just can't get enough of the long lasting matte formulas. I went to the Smashbox counter in my local boots to check out their hydrating foundation and ended up getting my face done by the lovely Maria. She was so nice and did such a nice job that I ended up spending a fortune. Then I saw the liquid lipsticks and knew I had to get one. I picked Girl Gang which is a plum/berry shade and it is gorgeous. The formula is incredible and I am in love with the wand. I will definitely be buying more of these.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm // £22

When I had my makeup done by Maria I got told off for my poor attempt at a skincare routine and we were talking about how dry my skin was and that nothing I tried helped. She then sent me over to the clinique counter to Ness for another telling off and some much needed help. Ness couldn't get over how dry my skin was and set me up with a routine which I will write about soon. I also picked up this cleansing balm which I have seen everyone raving about. It definitely lives up to the hype. It's so good. It melts of my makeup including my eyeliner and leaves my face feeling super soft and squeaky clean. It also doesn't burn if you get it in your eyes (I'm an actual child who can't wash her face properly).

March beauty Favourites

Lush Grease Lightning Spot Treatment // £6.50

So my skin has not been the greatest recently. As I mentioned earlier I got myself sorted out with a skincare routine but on my massive spending spree I also picked up this from Lush. Safe to say it's actually amazing. I used to used the Freederm Fast Track gel but I much prefer this. It is a tad drying but not as much as the freederm one. I just apply it to any breakouts at night at let it work its magic. By the morning my spots are less red and less visible. It has definitely reduced the amount of spots I have and paired with my new skincare routine my face is the clearest it's been in a long time.

Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream in Velvet Slipper* // £4.99
I did a full review on this lipstick along with 3 of the other shades including swatches the other week. This is probably my favourite out of the 3. It's such a good formula for such an amazing price. If you are looking to try out shades you normally wouldn't go for then I definitely recommend these. This muted deep plum is the perfect shade to get you into the darker colours.

Schwarzkopf Live Ultra Brights Shocking Pink Hair Dye // £5.49

If you follow me on instagram or Twitter you will know that at the end of Feb I went back to my natural pink hair. I was blonde for almost a year and was getting bored of normal hair. The dye I absolutely swear by is the Schwarzkopf ultra brights shocking pink. Its such a bright pink and it lasts well, fading out nicely. I actually picked some up in Primark the other day for £3.80 so definitely check there out first.

What have you been loving this month?
