2016 Beauty Favourites

I did my December 2016 favourites a few days ago but I thought I'd do a post to show the products I could not stop reaching for this year. I'm pretty sure they have featured in one favourite post or another since I started doing them in June so here's a round up of my absolute favourites.

2016 Beauty Favourites
Face

Sleek Solstice Highlighting Palette (Boots) - This is the highlighter palette I reach for the most at the moment but I have just got the ABH Moon Child palette so I have a feeling that one may take the top spot.

Rosie for Autograph Translucent Powder (M&S) - This powder leaves my skin feeling like silk and is one of the main components to keeping my eyeliner on fleek throughout a wheelchair basketball tornament. It beasts those oily eyelids. Also stops my concealer creasing.

Kat Von D Hydrating Face Primer (Debenhams) - In case you haven't heard me moan about it enough, I have dry skin. My foundation went through a phase of cracking and looking gross. Paired with a new skincare routine this primer has massively helped. It provides a nicely moisturised base and keeps my foundation looking fresh for hours. Plus the packaging is stunning.

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24hr Foundation (Boots) - This makes my skin look flawless, lasts all day and I actually managed to get a near perfect shade match. Also it smells really good

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer (Boots) - I need all the help I can get with making it look like I actually get some sleep and this conceals my under eye circles pretty well and doesn't crease.

Real Techniques Sponge - Not pictured because it desperately needs washing. This is seriously the only thing I ever use to apply my foundation. I've tried going back to brushes but I just can't. The sponge gives such a gorgeous flawless, dewy base.

The Body Shop Vit E Range (The Body Shop) - I did a full review on the skin care range I fell in love with. I go on about this at every opportunity. It helped with my skin and in turn my confidence. I am so in love with it. Plus the body shop are such a lovely company and always have amazing deals on

2016 Beauty Favourites

Eyes

Maybelline Brow Drama (Boots) - I was blessed with thick brows (although I didn't think that as a teenager) so don't really have to do much with them. I run this through and it keeps all hairs in place all day.

Illamasqua Precision Ink Liquid Liner (Beauty Bay) - I rarely go without my trusty winged liner so a good liner is a must. This one definitely fits the bill. It's easy to apply and survives naps as well as sweaty wheelchair basketball games. (Full Review Here)

Maybelline Gel Eyeliner (Boots) - I never use this for wings as I found it smudged and cracked but this is hands down the best eyeliner for your waterline. It is an intense black and it doesn't budge. Plus these pots last forever.

Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara (Boots) - This mascara is the perfect mascara. It gives length and massive volume. It coats lashes evenly with no clumps and the wand doesn't look like a torture implement that will blind you with a slight slip of the hand. (Full Review Here)

Lips

Dose of Colors Stone & Rose (Dose of Colors) - These two pair together so perfectly. Next to baci they are my favourite nudeish lipsticks to wear. Rose is the most comfortable thing I have ever worn. Its such a gorgeous non sticky gloss. (Full Review Here)

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipsticks (Stila) - The Stila Lipsticks are some of my favourite liquid lipsticks. The formula is amazing, they last well, are comfortable to wear and the colours are gorgeous. Baci is hands down my favourite mauve nude and I constantly reach for it. Beso is a gorgeous true red and Aria has been on my lips all December.

Fragrance

MUGLER Alien Eau Extraordinaire (FeelUnique) - I swap and change perfumes on a daily basis but this is a firm favourite. It smells gorgeous and I love putting on my scarf days later and still being able to smell it. I bought it on the way back from Nice and it still reminds me of that amazing holiady.

Lancome La Vie Est Belle (FeelUnique) - My dad bought this for my mum and I was constantly stealing it. I managed to pick a bottle up in the sales and I'm so glad I finally have my own. This is honestly one of my favourite ever perfumes. I get so many compliments on it

Can't wait to fall in love with new products in 2017
