The Body Shop Skincare

I've never really tried any of The Body Shops skincares offerings. Of course I adore their body butters and shower gels. The white musk perfume was the scent of some of my high school years. The mango body spray reminds me of summer. But for some reason I have never ventured into their skincare.

The Body Shop Skincare
When I saw one of their amazing offers online I knew it was time for that to change. I got £50 worth of skincare for the grand total of £25 and it was worth every penny. I will definitely be picking up some more pieces when I have money after Christmas. But for now this is what I have.

The Body Shop vitamin e moisturisers
Vitamin E Intense Moisture Cream - £13 - This is my least favourite out of all the bits I picked. It smells a bit like dust and old things. However I've been using this at night every few days and my skin always feels nice & hydrated in the morning. I do however feel like I have to wash my face because I can still feel remnants of it.

Vitamin E Aqua Boost Sorbet - £13 - On the complete opposite end of the spectrum I think this may be my absolute favourite out of everything I picked. It smells so damn good. I've been using this every morning without fail. It is perfect for applying before makeup as it's mattifying a provides such a good base. This honestly makes my skin feel amazing.

The Body shop skincare
Vitamin E Hydrating Toner - £7 - I use this after my cleansers every day to get rid of any remaining traces of cleanser. It is so refreshing in the morning and adds a lil bit more hydration which is perfect for my dry skin.

Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter - £10 - I have wanted to try this for ages so I finally picked it up. It smells pretty good and it just melts onto the skin. I usually take the majority of my makeup off with micellar water and then use this for a proper cleanse. It leaves my skin feeling super cleansed and soft. I have also used it to take off my makeup and it gets all my eyeliner/lipstick off. It gets a huge thumbs up from me.

Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash - £7 - I use this most mornings (I suck at doing it every day) and in the evenings if I haven't been wearing makeup. It leaves my face feeling nice and clean and soft as well as hydrated. It may be gentle but it definitely cleanses.

I had a massive problem with super red, painful breakouts on my chin/cheek that I could not get rid of. After a week of using the body shop stuff it started to calm down. I think I've been using it for nearly 2 months now and my skin is completely cleared up and is the best it's been in a long time. I was getting super self conscious about it and I'm so pleased with the results.

If you have dry skin I definitely recommend checking out the vitamin E range. It's done wonders for my face.
