Okay time for my second book review. You can see my first here

So I'm slowly getting back into reading and loving it. The only problem is, if I find a good book I literally can't put it down and don't actually get anything done. I read this in under 3 days and only managed to get a bit of painting done between reads. I loved everything about this book.

The main detective in this book is a women which I love, she has an amazing personality and is so feisty. She's having relationship troubles as she loves her job & always ends up putting that first. Her partner is also an amazing character and their personalities and banter on the job work well together . There is also a pathologist who is one of the main characters and he is a young, good looking French bloke who you end up falling in love with.

A headless body is found and throughout the book the body count adds up. The only problem is they can't find a connection between the victims and they have no possible suspects. Then the killers fixates on the Detective. I had no idea who the murderer was until near the end and there was not a single part of this book that I didn't enjoy reading.

I would say though that if you don't like reading graphic detail of gory scenes then this is probably not the book for you as some parts were a bit gory but I love that kind of thing.

This book has everything from grizzly murder, friendship, love, flirting and sex scenes and it ends on a massive cliff hanger that means I now have to go and buy the next book in the series as I NEED to know who, what and why.

This is one of the best crime books I have read in a very long time and I have read a lot of  them.

This is the first book in the Justice series of which I think there are 7 books.

This book is currently free for your kindle on Amazon an I highly recommend you go get it. What have you got to lose.
