June 2017 Favourites

June is over and done and tbh I'm freaking out a lil bit. Summer is my favourite time and now I keep hearing people saying it's nearly autumn and I'm not ready to be cold. I haven't had enough sun. I looved the heatwave we had even if I did have to travel home in my bra because the back of my top was soo sweaty from being in my wheelchair. I was made for the summer.

Anyway moving on. It's a tad late but here is what I was loving in June apart from the Sun

Tarteist PRO Glow to Go Highlight & Contour Palette

This was one of the things I picked when Tarte did the amazing bundle I wrote about last week (post here). I'm not a massive fan of the large fluffy brush as it's a bit hard. I prefer my spectrum luxe powder brush. However, I am in love with the smaller side. It applies my highlighter perfectly. Although who designed double ended brushes? How do you store them? I also wouldn't have paid £27 for it as I love my Spectrum brushes which are way more cost effective but I am glad I got it as it just applies my glow so beautifully.

Tarteist PRO Glow to Go Highlight & Contour Palette

Speaking of glow I picked this up ages ago but hadn't really used it much. However, I have recently fallen head over heels for the top highlighter shade in Gleam. It is so beautiful and beyond pigmented. It just gives such a stunning glow that really lasts. I honestly feel like such a glowing princess when I wear this. I can't stop wearing it and staring at my face. The contour shade is also pretty amazing. I'm not massively sold on the middle highlight shade though as it's a bit yellow for me.

Neutrogena Hydro boost Gel Cream Moisturiser

I think I might finally be getting my dry skin under control. Between this and the Nip & Fab I mentioned in last months favourites I think my scales have finally disappeared. I haven't really worn makeup for a while so can't comment on my foundation cracking but my skin feels 10x better.

I also picked this up in the Tarte bundle offer. It has quickly become my all time favourite nudes and the one I reach for most. The formula is just beautiful. It's so comfortable and the wand makes it super easy to apply in a rush. The nude mauve colour is just so simple and pretty. Also how cute is the Limited Edition packaging.

Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Spray Moisturiser
National Trust Reed Diffuser, Lyme Park Orangery

"A blend of lush green leaves interlaced with fragrant jasmine and white lily underscored with sandalwood, sophisticated white musk’s and sumptuous blondewoods."

My older little brother got me this for my birthday (I assume his girlfriend actually chose it) and oh my god it smells so good. The bottle is a beautiful frosted peach which looks gorgeous on my mantelpiece and it just smells heavenly. My living rooms smells so good right now. I never want it to run out.

I'm so lazy when it comes to moisturising my body but after stupidly burning and then peeling like a snake I have needed to moisturise twice a day every day. This stuff is perfect because I only ever remember to moisturise before getting dressed or before jumping into bed and being slimy makes that very difficult. This sinks in so fast and leaves your skin beautifully soft with no greasiness or stickiness. You can literally moisturise and then get dressed. I can even put leggings on straight away with no difficulty. It also smells amazing. The fact that it sprays is also really handy and makes reaching every part of you a breeze even with crappy joints.

Pixi Glow Tonic - £18

Can we just take a minute to appreciate how long it took me to jump on this bandwagon. Why did I not do it sooner? After my disastrous experience with Clinique skincare I was looking for a new toner. I had a birthday discount voucher for Cult Beauty last month so I decided to pick this up. It's so good. Smells a bit like my nan but it leaves my skin feeling great.

What have you been loving?
