Hair Care for Frizz Free Hair

My hair has been an actual state recently. It normally borders on greasy but all the sun, hair dye and poor treatment of it might finally be catching up with me as it's gone a bit dry. I think my medication is also drying out my whole body though as my skin, face and mouth are also constantly dry. When I was asked if I wanted to try the John Frieda Frizz Ease range* I thought it might sort out the nest that is my hair. After giving it a go for a few weeks I thought I'd share with you my favourite hair stuff for super soft swishy frizz free princess hair.

Hair Care for Frizz Free Hair

Before I get onto the John Frieda range here are some products that I have absolutely adored for ages and would be lost without.

The Schwarzkopf got2b Mind Blowing Styling Spray is a must have for anyone with a shitty body. My chronic illness makes lifting my arms way to much effort and drying my super thick hair can be painful. This cuts down the drying time but quite a bit. I thought it was a gimmick but I forgot it the other day and my hair took forever to dry. Definitely a must have for anyone with thick hair.

Not pictured (because I didn't get any decent pictures and I nearly threw my laptop & camera) but one of my all time favourite products is the Batiste Heat & Shine Spray. This is perfect for dry hair and I use it whenever I straighten it. It leaves my hair so damn soft and silky it's ridiculous. I've nearly run out and I will definitely be repurchasing. I honestly cannot recommend this enough. You need it. End of.

This horrendously well loved Tigi Bed Head After Party Smoothing Cream probably needs throwing out because it's that old but it still leaves my hair silky smooth. A little bit goes a long way hence why this one is so old and it not only leaves your hair soft and frizz free but it smells pretty damn good too.

John Frieda Frizz Ease range

Now onto the main event. I've tried the Luxurious Volume Collection and loved it so was excited to try these. Safe to say I am in love. They leave my hair feeling super soft even before I use any of the other products. I tried the Shampoo and conditioner without the pre-wash treatment first and it still left my hair feeling lush with no frizz.

My main issue with the 10 Day Tamer  Pre-wash Treatment* is it smells super strong of cheap mens deodorant and the smell lingers in your hair even once you've washed it. This tube contains two maybe three treatments for me as my hair is so thick and mid length. I'm not sure how much it adds to the lack of frizziness but I'm not sure I would buy it again at £12.99.

The Forever Smooth Shampoo* and Forever Smooth Conditioner* are another story though. They leave my hair so smooth. They have really been put through their paces recently with this hot weather as I have been letting my hair dry naturally which usually ends up in frizz city. Not this time. I currently have super soft frizz free hair which definitely feels healthier than before I started using them. I also find it's much easier to detangle my hair after showering which makes my life easier. Sometimes I find some of the more luxurious shampoos & conditioners weigh my hair down and leave it really greasy but I don't have this problem with them. Will definitely be repurchasing when I run out.

What are your hair care must haves?
