Adopt A Mermaid

So I was sent my very own mermaid in the post this week. I don't think I will ever get anything that matches my blog name more perfectly than this. An actual mermaid. The lovely people that sent me my own mermaid is Mermaid Adoptions. I was kindly sent Alexa* and I love her. Look at her gorgeous Turquoise hair (which also happens to be one of my favourite colours). She's so adorable and is currently sat on my desk supervising me making sure I actually write this post.

There are 5 different mermaids to choose from and you can get a mermaid toy on its own or the full package.

- Community Integrated Care - A national social care charity providing care and support to thousands of people across England & Scotland

Children's hospitals and social care are two things very close to my heart as I obviously have had to and still do rely on both of these. Hospitals have played a huge part in my life and I obviously still visit them frequently (adult ones now though which have an extreme lack of stickers). I'm also lucky that I have a lot of support so get the care I need but there are so many people who aren't that lucky and need all the help they can get which is why charities like this are essential.

Fear not if Mermaids aren't your thing. You can also Adopt a Dragon. A freaking dragon. How cool is that? Or you can Adopt a Unicorn and I feel like I need the dreamy eyes unicorn in my life because they are so damn adorable.
