Gooey Chocolate Brownies

I love baking but I don't get to do it very often. Is there anything better than warm gooey brownies fresh out the oven? Nope, didn't think so. I made a batch (or two) of brownies the other week and they were heaven. My house smelt incredible and my taste buds have never been so happy. Eating brownie mixture for breakfast was probably not my best idea. Pretty damn delicious idea though. I'm not sure where I originally got this recipe from but it is my go to for brownies

Gooey Chocolate Brownies

You Will Need:
  • 3 Eggs
  • 100g Plain Flour
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
  • 250g Butter
  • 250g Muscovado Sugar
  • 300g Chocolate

1. Preheat oven to 170°C & grease baking tin

2. Melt the chocolate & butter. I do this in a bowl over a pan of water and usually make a mess

3. Whisk the eggs & sugar together and then fold in the melted chocolate

4. Sieve the flour and baking powder into the mixture

5. Add any extras - Choc chips, nuts etc. I chop up chunks of dairy milk and put them in

6. Bake for 35 mins. The surface will be cracked when fully cooked. They will seem a tad underdone but they firm up as they cool

7. Lick the spoon/bowl. This is the most important step of baking

8. Resist eating one. Fail. Burn your tongue.

Gooey Chocolate Brownie recipe

These are seriously the gooiest brownies I have ever had. It makes it a tad difficult to tell when they're done but oh my god they are soo good. They just melt in the mouth and are so chocolatey and delicious. Turns out I don't think I'm related to the majority of my family because they don't like brownies so unfortunately I had to eat most of them myself. What a shame.
