June 2019 Favourites

Who's ready for another late favourites post? I haven't done one of these for a while because I haven't really been wearing makeup or using anything particularly exciting. I mean I still haven't been using anything revolutionary and I've only worn a little bit of makeup but I finally had enough products I've enjoyed using to make a post. July's should hopefully be more exciting.

flatlay showing 3 tubes of lipstick on a pink dish, an orange tub of moisturiser, a white bottle of mouthwash, a pale blue bottle of nail polish, a turquoise liquid eyeliner and a bottle of perfume with a big bow on it
I'm not normally a nude lip person but as my makeup has been so minimal recently I've been reaching for these a lot.

NYX Butter Gloss in Praline & Tiramisu - As we all know I have massively fallen in love with glosses. Gone are the days of super sticky tar glosses. These butter glosses are just so comfortable and glide on like, well butter. Praline is more of a pinky nude and Tiramisu is a gorgeous brown. I love layering them over a matte liquid lipstick for a more comfortable but longer-lasting colour.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Nudes Collection Lipstick in Cinnamon Beige - I adore soap and glory but haven't really tried much of their makeup. I tried the supercat liner and hated it so was a bit nervous to try more. However, as soon as I swatched this lipstick I needed it. It is just the perfect nude for minimal makeup days.

Image shows several open tubes. L-R turquoise No7 eyeliner, pink nude NYX lipgloss, brown NYX lipgloss, nude soap and glory lipstick and a light blue nail polish

Rimmel 60 sec Nail Polish in Breakfast in Bed - I'm normally a black or dark wine red kinda girl but I thought this shade was so pretty. As soon as I put it on I hated it and missed my beautifully dark nails. However, it quickly grew on me and I'm now obsessed. It's just such a gorgeous colour and looks so good with a tan. I feel like this will be my go-to toenail colour for quite a while. I also love the Rimmel 60 sec nail polishes. They dry quick enough that I don't smudge them and they last extremely well considering how hard I am on my nails.

No 7 Stay Precise Liquid Eyeliner in Mermaid - I am devastated that this seems to have been discontinued. The colour payoff is incredible and the staying power is just ridiculous. I have slept in this eyeliner twice (I am not great at taking my makeup off after an extremely long day okay) and it has been perfect when I have woken up. I'm talking wing still intact and as vibrant as when I fell asleep.

A bottle of perfume with a giant pink bow, an open tub of moisturiser next to the lid which has a mango on it. A white bottle of mouthwash

Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Bowdacious Perfume - Now I am not going to lie, I hate the bottle of this perfume. It just looks a bit cheap and tacky so I would never have thought to smell it. I recently got a sample free with something though and oh my god it is beautiful. It smells so good I immediately had to go out and buy it. The fragrance sticks around as well. I have had so many compliments since wearing this.

The Body Shop Mango Body Yogurt - Turns out this was one of my favourites in June last year too. The body yoghurts are hands down my absolute favourite moisturisers. I love the body butters but they can leave you a bit slimy. These beauties sink in so quickly and leave your skin gorgeously soft and moisturised and also smelling heavenly. The mango scent is my go to and I just cannot get enough of it. I actually moisturise every night with these because they smell so good and leave my skin feeling amazing.

Biotene Dry Mouth Mouthwash - A side effect of a couple of my medications is dry mouth. So times the side effect by 3 medications and my mouth is the fucking Sahara. You don't realise how bloody uncomfortable it is until your tongue is constantly stuck to the rook of your mouth. This mouthwash is honestly such a lifesaver. It helps keep my mouth hydrated and stops me wanting to constantly down pints of water which isn't great for my overactive bladder (yes my body is just a mess). I've tried boots own version and it doesn't compare. This one is pricey but it really makes a difference. You can use it up to 5x a day but even once is enough to ease my discomfort.

What products have you been reaching for recently?
