Photowall Waterfall Canvas

I was recently contacted by Photowall and asked if I wanted to try one of their wall murals or canvases. I'm trying to make my home feel more like me and more homely at the moment so I thought a canvas would be the perfect addition as my walls are all so bare.

I went for the Waterfall Canvas* and it's just so beautiful. I am always happiest in or near water. It just makes me feel so relaxed. I think that's why I fell in love with this print as soon as I saw it.

This isn't where it's going to stay but I haven't put up a screw for it yet. I just love how it goes so well with my living room decor. All about those greys. The canvas size I have is 80 x 90cm (£98) and it's just such a gorgeous statement piece for my wall. Can you tell I love it?

Photowall is a Swedish company with a passion for design and quality. Their wall murals and canvas prints are environmentally friendly, fire-retardant in accordance with Swedish standards and do not fade in sunlight.

The beauty of Photowall canvases are that they come in kit form. Now that may not be for everyone but it was actually pretty simple and quite fun. I did have a picture of it in kit form but it seems to have not saved. Anyway the kit comes with your canvas cloth, the frame sections (4 bits of wood), 4x corner plates, 16x screws and everything you need to hang it on the wall. I thought it was going to be super complicated but the instructions are pretty easy to follow and it came together really well. I would say though that it is probably a 2 man job. I had my dad helping (more like I was the helper and he did the majority). As you can see on the back, the screws have chunky black tops making screwing the frame together by hand really easy. There's also tape on the frame to keep the canvas in place whilst you screw it together. They really have thought of everything.

Considering I put it together it feels really sturdy and well made and it looks great. There are so many gorgeous designs to choose from and prices start from £38. I will definitely be adding more to my collection. I think the Full Moon is next on my list. They also do wall murals which look absolutely incredible. You can also use your own images for both the canvases and the wall murals which makes the perfect gift.  Postage is then free which is amazing as I hate having to fork out for postage and your parcel will then be dispatched the next working day at the latest.

I think 2018 will be the year I spend less on makeup and more on homeware.
Where are your favourite places to get homeware?
