Adagio Festive Teas + Giveaway

So we all know by now how much I love tea. You can't beat a good cuppa. When I received an email from the lovely Danielle asking if I would like to review some festive teas from Adagio Teas I obviously said yes. I was expecting maybe a couple of different flavours. If you saw my Instagram story you would have seen the incredible and beyond generous package I was sent. This post doesn't even make a dent. I will have more posts coming up as I get around to trying the other flavours. I honestly still can't get over their generosity and I will definitely be well stocked on tea for a while. It actually made my week.

Adagio Festive Teas
Spice Jubilee Set* - £20

This set includes 113g tins of Pumpkin Spice, Cranberry and Candy Cane tea. The tins are so freaking cute. I honestly can't get over the packaging. Now onto the tea. I am beyond obsessed with the Candy Cane tea. Mint tea is probably one of my favourites and this is amazing. It's the first black mint tea I have tried and I am in love. It even has bits of candy cane in it. I wasn't sure if I was going to like the pumpkin spice one but oh my god it is delicious. I'm not a massive fan of PSL's but pumpkin spice tea is where it's at. So damn good. The cranberry tea was subtly fruity with and pretty damn good.

Holiday Cheer Tins* - £12

The holiday cheer tins set comes with 6 adorable 28g tins. The first 3 flavours are the same as the Jubilee set and then you get Gingerbread, Candy Apple  and Chestnut. Out of these 3 I have only tried the candy apple so far. I'm a huge fan of this one though. Warm apple and cinnamon is one of my all time favourite flavour combinations so this was always going to be a winner.

Holiday Cheer Tea Bags* - £14

This set has the same flavours as the holiday cheer tin set but you get 30 individually wrapped tea bags. The set is so cute and would make a great gift.

Adagio Festive Teas

Christmas Tea* - Spicy and fresh aroma, outdoorsy and cozy, with a balanced tangy flavour and slightly sweet finish.
(Black tea, Cinnamon bark, Orange peels, natural spice flavour, cardamom, cloves, ginger root, natural ginger & cinnamon flavour)

This tea is quite a strong one. The flavours all complement each other but if you aren't a fan of overly strong/spiced tea I'd give this one a miss. I however, love it. It just smells and tastes so Christmasy. It's more spicy than fruity but it's just the perfect balance of flavours.

Spiced Apple Chai - Timeless duo of apples and spice. Juicy and pleasantly sweet, like warm applesauce, with a clean, refreshing texture.
(Black tea, cinnamon bark, ginger root, cardamom, orange peels, cloves, apple pieces, natural apple & cinnamon flavour)

I haven't tried this one yet but I am so excited. Apple crumble is my favourite pudding. I just cannot get enough of sweet apples with cinnamon. I really hope this lives up to expectations and I will keep you updated.

Adagio teapot and cup set

Tea Pot & Cups* - £19

I am so in love with this lil set. I cannot cope with how damn cute these cups are. I worked my way through this teapot of yuletide toddy whilst taking these photos and I think I got about 4 cups out of it. The teapot comes with an infuser and is a decent size (600ml capacity). It's also a really good price. Keep reading to find out how to win your own. I will also definitely be treating myself to a cup with infuser for days when I don't want a pot. It'll be so much easier than the fiddly infusers I have at the moment.

Yuletide Toddy*
(apple pieces, hibiscus, rose hips, orqnge peels, cinnamon bark, ginger root, natural cranberry flavour, dried cherries, natural orange, cinnamon & ginger flavour).

This is the tea pictured in the cup in the pictures. It tastes so festive and delicious. I was expecting it to be a bit like mulled wine but it is so much sweeter and fruitier. It's so warming and perfect for curling up after a day in the cold.

I was also sent some 23g pouches of tea. I haven't got around to trying these yet but they sound so good. I am a huge fan of cinnamon so cinnamon tea will be interesting. The roobios nutcracker also sounds delicious with fruit, nuts, caramel, and cocoa. Doesn't get much better than that.

Adagio honestly has a tea for everyone. If you love tea then you definitely need to check them out. They also have different size packets to cater for all budgets but they are extremely reasonably priced. I am so excited to work my way through so many of their flavours. Everything just sounds so delicious. Keep your eyes peeled for updates on their other flavours as I try them. I'll probably do casual reviews on Instagram so follow me over there.
