Her Last Whisper by Jennifer Chase* - Katie Scott’s cold case gets a lot more interesting when her kidnap victim turns up dead. Katie is convinced that there is a pattern of women going missing & then showing up dead in remote locations. When another woman goes missing the pressure is on to find her before it’s too late.

The Secret Child by Caroline Mitchell* - Full Review - When Nicole’s 4 year old daughter is kidnapped she receives 4 phials instead of a ransom. One is poisoned, three are safe. If she drinks one her daughters location will be revealed. To add more mystery the kidnapper is supposed to be dead. All His Pretty Girls by Charly Cox* - A badly beaten woman is found in the middle of nowhere barely clinging to life. Once Detective Alyssa Wyatt is on the case she soon finds a string of murdered women who bear a striking resemblance to her. The killer has his sights on her and won’t stop until he has wreaked revenge on her and her family.

Cold Heart Creek by Lisa Regan* - When the bodies of two campers are found Josie is convinced it is more than an accidental poisoning. The presence of a necklace stuffed in the throat of one of the bodies confirms this. A 3rd sleeping bag suggests there was an extra person camping but are they a missing victim or a killer. The investigation leads them to a suspicious farm deep in the woods where people go to escape which throws up more questions than answers.
