SkinKissed Vitamin C Serum

As you are all probably sick of hearing by now, I have very dry skin. A side affect of a few of my medications is dry skin, eyes & mouth and wow is it frustrating. I have tried so many products to try and help my scaly face and I am yet to find a holy grail. That being said this SkinKissed Vitamin C Serum* has definitely helped a hell of a lot.

SkinKissed Vitamin C Serum

It is designed to leave your skin glowing, smoother and tighter. SkinKissed claims to calm, repair and soothe sensitive, dry or mature skin as well as boost radiance. The serum contains Water, Rose Water, Vitamin C, Glycerine, Hyaluronic Acid, Phenoxyethanol & Marine Collagen which are all combined to:

• Plump and hydrate dry and dull skin
• Remove any acne on your skin
• Reduce wrinkles, fine lines & blemishes
• Leave your skin feeling soft & fresh again
• Make your skin look young again
•  Be the perfect base and primer for your makeup

Each ingredient has just the right amount to compliment the other ingredients which bring them to all work together as a team and do wonders.

• Contains concentrated and high percentages of active ingredients
• Contains no oil, so you it will decrease your chances of experiencing any skin breakouts
• Leave a nice fresh fragrance on your skin
•Never been tested on animals

Let's talk about the downsides of this product.

• At £29.95 for 20ml this is pretty pricey, especially as it doesn't last overly long. I've had mine for about a month. I apply it twice a day and I am nearly out.

• After application it leaves a sticky feeling on the skin until it sinks in. It might not suit oily skin as it is a tad greasy. This is kind of a pro/con for me because it eventually sinks in nicely on my super dry skin and offers a lot of hydration.

• I also find it has a bit of a weird smell to it, however once I've applied it I only really notice it on my hands.

So really none of these downsides are enough to put me off using this product.

Now onto the pros

• I don't think my skin has ever looked this glowy and healthy. It is so hydrated (for me anyway, still a tad on the dry side).

• I don't really need any base products at the moment. I am just wearing highlighter and mascara because I am so happy with my skin and I actually look alive. When I do wear foundation though, it doesn't crack or go scaly which is a huge achievement.

• The packaging is really pretty  and makes application and controlling how much you use super easy

• I've been slacking on my no dairy at the moment (I couldn't resist milkybar ice cream) so I have a few breakouts but this serum seems to be controlling them and getting rid of them a lot quicker than they normally stick around for.

• Cruelty Free

I've had a browse of the website and from what I can see the customer service looks great. If you aren't happy or don't get on with the serum you can have a full refund. They are also happy to answer any questions and try and get back to you within 24 hours. I've also seen them offer to help people find skin care that will work for them if they didn't get on with their own serum. It seems they are a brand that just want everyone to have glowing skin and be happy.

All in all the only thing that puts me off ordering this again is the price. However, if my foundation starts cracking when I run out I will 100% be heading online to order some immediately. This is the only product that seems to inject moisture into my skin and help it stick around. I also love the glow it gives me.
