Origins Face Masks

This is my first beauty post in what feels like forever. I mean I know I haven't been posting much of anything recently but I can't remember the last time I posted something beauty related.

I am obsessed with face masks at the moment. I do at least 2 a week if not more. I just love how they leave my skin feeling. I 'm in desperate need of a good skin pamper at the moment because I've slacked on my skincare due to tiredness and I ate some dairy chocolate so my face is not happy. I picked this cute little set up in the Boots boxing day sale and I'm definitely a fan.

Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores

Activated Charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out pore-cloggers, White China Clay absorbs environmental pollutants, Lecithin dissolves impurities.

Charcoal masks are probably my favourites because my pores always seem to be clogged. I like to feel like my face has been seep cleaned. Especially when I've been too exhausted to cleanse it properly like I have been recently. I do love this mask and it leaves my skin feeling soft and clean but I think they're are cheaper ones that do exactly the same out there.

Origins Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask

This intense moisture replacement mask with Avocado Oil and Apricot Kernel Oil deeply and instantly quenches compromised moisture reserves and builds a reservoir for tomorrow. Japanese Seaweed repairs skin's barrier to prevent future dehydration and signs of premature ageing.

I was expecting this one to be my favourite as I have heard amazing things and my face is so dry. I do love the hydration side but I find the scent a tad overpowering. I can't even work out which ingredient smells so strong but I do find it a little bit off putting. It might be apricot? I don't know but whatever it is it smells quite sweet and chemically. That being said it leaves my face feeling so hydrated and plump. Every time I put it on I question why because of the scent. I am then promptly reminded why when I feel how moisturised my skin feels. My skin is so dry that it soaks it up instantly.

Origins Original Skin Retexturizing Mask with Rose Clay

2-in-1 mask!

Mediterranean Rose Clay, Canadian Willow Herb and exfoliating Jojoba beads, help gently deep clean while refining skin’s texture. Pores appear to vanish. Clarity is restored. Glow is instant.

This is the one I was expecting to not get on with because I hate rose scents. However, this one is probably my favourite out of the three. It does obviously smell like rose but it's not overpowering and I actually kind of like it. The rose is definitely something I can look past anyway, especially for the results. This mask leaves my skin feeling super clean as well as incredibly smooth and glowing. It helps so much with large pores and any sort of texture. I absolutely love it. My face feels brand new after this mask

What are your favourite face masks? I'm also in need of some cleanser recommendations for dry, breakout prone skin.
