Top 10 Holy Grail Products Featuring Sarah in Wonderland

Todays post is a colab with one of my favourite people, my twin Sarah. You need to check out her blog. It's the best and that's not even me being biased. So we decided as it was valentines to do a shout out to the products that have stolen out hearts. It started out as top 3, expanded to top 5 and we finally settled on our top 10. It is so difficult to narrow down my faves to only 10 products but here is what I settled on.

Top 10 Holy Grail Products
Top 10 Holy Grail base Products

1. Sleek Solstice Highlighter Palette
You have probably seen me banging on about this a lot. It's been in my November Favourites and my 2016 Beauty Faves. If you haven't seen it on here you must have heard of it because it is massively hyped and for very good reason. The packaging is gorgeous even if it is a bitch to photograph. The highlighters themselves are beautiful and so pigmented for a drugstore brand. One sweep and you have the perfect glow. I am obsessed with that pink/lilac in the top right. It's just stunning.

2. Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24hr Foundation
I struggle with foundation. My skin is dry and foundations just seem to crack and go weird. I'm also always between shades. This foundation is my all time favourite. I adore it. It goes on beautifully, its high coverage making my skin look perfect, it actually matches my skin and it doesn't crack. It also has an amazing staying power and a gorgeous scent when you apply it (you can't smell it once it's on your face). I honestly can't see myself ever loving another foundation as much as this one.

3.Rosie for autograph Translucent Finishing Powder
I picked this up on a whim when I had an M&S voucher to spend and it may be one of my best impulse purchases. It leaves my skin silky soft and keeps my makeup in place all day. I use this to set my eyelids before applying my eyeliner (because oily lids) and it means my wings stay on point all day (and that one night I accidentally slept in my eyeliner). It does smell a bit like old people though which is the only downside.

4. Stila One Step Correct Primer (Full review)
As you can see this primer is very much loved and I'm going to have to repurchase soon. Not only does it look super cool but it is perfect for my skin. The green counteracts my red cheeks and it also evens out my under eye circles. It's nice and moisturising and provides the perfect base for my foundation. If you struggle with redness and dry skin then definitely give this a go.

5. Illamasqua Precision Ink Liner in Abyss (Full Review)
Picking my favourite eyeliner was a tough one because I've recently been testing out a new one which I love. However, this one has had my heart for the longest and I will always reach for this if I'm in a rush or have a long, hot day because I trust it. By that I mean I know I can apply it with no issues minus the whole matching my wing angles (impossible) and I know it will last all day. Honestly this stuff doesn't budge. My brother thought he'd be hilarious and smudge my eyeliner one day. He was extremely angry to find it didn't move at all much to my amusement. It survives wheelchair basketball games (gotta look fierce) and naps. Honestly this liner is incredible.

6. Smashbox Full Exposure Mascara (Full review)
I don't think I have ever loved a mascara as much as this one. I fell in love the first time I used it and I don't think I have used another mascara since. It is perfect. It provides both volume and length as well as being super black. It doesn't clump and it never flakes into my flake magnet eyeballs. The wand is on the big size but it gets every lash and works its magic.

7. Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Baci
Choosing lipsticks was so damn hard. I decided to pick a nude and a bright one and even that was super difficult. Stila is one of my favourite liquid lipstick brands which you probably noticed if you read my massive stila collection post. Baci is definitely one of, if not my favourite nude. It's a mauve pink and it is perfect. I am obsessed with it. If you only buy one lipstick make it this one. The formula is amazing and the lasting power is one of the best I've tried.

8. Dose of Colors Liquid Lipstick in Kiss of Fire (full review)
Bright's was a difficult choice. I am more at home in a bold lip than a nude. I have soo many to choose from but I finally picked this DOC one. Kiss of fire is a gorgeous fiery red and is perfect if you love a bright lip. Bordering on neon it is definitely out there and I always reach for this when I'm going out and dressing up. I adore DOC lippies so much that I've just ordered two more and don't even care about the customs charges. The formula is incredible. Plus how nice is that packaging?

9. Nouveau Volume 2 Strip Lashes*
If you read my January faves or my #LashGang post you will know I recently discovered false lashes. Safe to say I am a massive convert and am now fully obsessed. These are my favourites and I never want to take them off. I feel like a princess wearing them. You cannot beat long, full, fluttery lashes. These are so comfortable and look beautiful on.

10. Lancome La Vie Est Belle Perfume
Last but definitely not least. This perfume is beyond amazing. I have never smelt anything so gorgeous. My dad bought it for my mum and after spritzing myself whenever I went round I finally treated myself to my own bottle. "An eau de parfum with the noblest ingredients i.e. concrete of iris pallida, jasmine sambac, absolute orange blossom and absolute patchouli essence". It smells like heaven and I just want everything to smell this good. If you haven't had a whiff of this yet get down to boots/debenhams now.

Now onto Sarah's Top 10.

1. Nars Velvet Lip Liner
I tried a Nars foundation after so many people recommended it to me. The lady on the counter also really pushed it. Then I hated it (post here). Obviously it's not the foundations fault my skin is weird but I've not really tried any Nars since. This needs to change and I really want to try the lip liners as well as the lipsticks. They look amazing. Plus if Sarah loves them I obviously need them.

2. Dose of Colors Bare with Me
Sarah was the one who got me hooked on DOC. I haven't tried bare with me because I think it'll probably be too light for me but I love so many of their other colours.

3. Urban Decay Naked Concealer
I want to try this concealer so bad but I haven't managed to get to a debenhams to check out the shades. It will happen soon though. I need it in my life. I've heard so many good things.

4. Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder
Okay I'm gonna admit I am super lazy with sculpting/contouring but this looks soo good. I also love the fact that they aren't orange toned and don't have an obvious shimmer. May have to invest.

5. Clinique Cheek Pop in Heather Pop
I'm not very adventurous when it comes to blushers. I tend to just stick to my Milani one. This however is such a gorgeous shade that I am tempted. I'm really lazy with my makeup though so skip blush quite a lot. Lipstick, eyeliner and highlighter are the only real essentials.

6. Nouveau Natural 1 Strip Lashes
I haven't tried this particular style but I adore Nouveau lashes. They are super comfortable and look gorgeous. The perfect accessory. If you are looking for lashes I definitely recommend these.

7. Bobbi Brown Highlighter Pink Glow
I think we've all established by now that Sarah is a lot fancier than me and has so much gorgeous high end makeup. I really need to up my game. I just looked this up and holy crap it is gorgeous. I'm all about the pink highlighters and I think this needs to be on my face asap

8. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer
Much to my annoyance at high school I was blessed with thick brows which is perfect for my lazy ass. I tend to just whack a brow gel through and done. I do however really like the look of these I just don't think me and my bushy brows would get much use out of it.

9. Urban Decay Naked 3
Okay I suck at eyeshadow. I need to sit down and practice but I just don't have the patience to blend a billion colours for a simple eye look. Eyeliner is so much easier. I would love to master it and I'm hoping I can do a basic eye by the end of this year. Wish me luck.

10. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara
This one is definitely on my to buy list. I've heard so many good things about this mascara plus I also kinda love the packaging. Will it beat my smashbox fave? It would be rude not to test it really. It's basically for the blog.

Don't forget to head on over to Sarah's post and find out why she loves her 10 products so much and see what she thinks of my choices.
