Moonlight Melts Autumn Wax Melt Range

I was kindly sent Moonlight Melts Autumn range and I am so in love with this company. I've followed them on twitter for a while and kept meaning to make an order but I could never decide which scents to get because they all sound amazing. This range is perfect for me though because I have been craving delicious autumn scents. It's one of the plusses of suddenly having to wear jumpers and freezing your ass off when you have to leave the house in the early hours.

Photowall Waterfall Canvas

I was recently contacted by Photowall and asked if I wanted to try one of their wall murals or canvases. I'm trying to make my home feel more like me and more homely at the moment so I thought a canvas would be the perfect addition as my walls are all so bare.

Reducing Waste

After seeing the horrendous affect the huge amounts of plastic we throw away every day is having on our oceans and planet I decided to try and make an effort to reduce my waste. Things like cotton pads, straws, water bottles and take away cups made up a huge percentage of what I was throwing away daily. Here are some things you can try to cut down on your waste.

Posh Canvas

Even though I've been in my house for well over a year I am still trying to slowly put my mark on it. My walls are still all pretty bare and I've been meaning to get some decorative pieces. I was contacted by Posh Canvas and asked if I wanted to review one of theirs so obviously I said yes.

Teapot Warmer

As an avid tea drinker this may the best invention I have ever come across. I drink a lot of tea. Probably more than I should and definitely more now that I seem to have gone off coffee. However, getting up all the time to go to the kitchen to boil the kettle is just too much for my poor broken body sometimes.

Drinkware from Typo

Life has been so busy recently that I've been massively slacking on the blog posts. It feels like I've covered the whole of England & Wales recently. Wheelchair basketball really does make you travel. 2 weeks ago I did 2 days of work so Monday I was in Aberaeron and Tuesday in Llanelli. Wednesday we went to Cardiff shopping, Thursday we had to take the car to Bristol to the garage, then Friday-Sunday we were in Nottingham. I got 3 days rest last week then Thursday we were in Coventry, Friday & Saturday in Nottingham again and then Sunday we were in Warwick. I feel like I've spent the last 2 weeks in a car. I crashed hard Monday and I'm trying to take it easy this week.

I thought I'd do a quick post today about the super handy and oh so pretty drinkware collection I seem to have gathered from one of my fave shops, Typo. I'm trying to drink more water and they've definitely come in handy over the past two weeks.

Room Tour

I've been in my lil house for over 6 months now and I love it. My bedroom is by far my fave room. Probably because I spend so much time in it and my bed is soo comfy. The main thing I was excited about when I got my own place was being able to have a double bed and starfishing all night. I bought so much cute bedding from Primark when I moved. It's an addiction I can't seem to stop. Cute bedding is my weakness. Also cushions

Little Mermaid Prints

If you know me you know I'm a huge Disney fan. Disney is always my go to when I need a film to watch and I always drag my family to watch their newest additions. The lovely Rachel from Foxes in the Forest kindly sent me these gorgeous prints to review and made my day. I was sent the Ariel and Ursula prints* and how damn cute are they? The wall above my desk is pretty much just Dinsey and Dorkface prints and it looks so good.

Disney Prints

I was doing so well with my scheduling and then the nice weather came along and distracted me and then my body went down hill again and ruined it all. Just rude really. I had my tilt table test today so feel like crap and was told there was no significant change so still no answers which has put me in a bit of a grump. This means today you get a short but sweet post on the most stunning prints I have ever seen.

Logik Coffee Maker

Everyone who knows me knows I am obsessed with coffee. Seriously. Coffee is life and I am one moody bitch if I don't get my morning cuppa. So when I moved to my new house I knew I absoulutely had to have a coffee machine because faffing about with a cafetiere is just effort. I was about to purchase one when my lovely Uncle & Aunty said they would get it for me as a house warming pressie. Life made.

Kitchen Essentials

I'm not allowed in the kitchen very often because that place is dangerous. So many things to injure myself on. Way too clumsy to be allowed in there. Buut there are a few things that I can use safely and mean I can actually eat if I'm ever left alone (not very often. I might starve to death or fall & die).

So I thought I'd share some extremely helpful kictchen stuff which is soo helpful for my fellow chronic illness warriors but also great for healthy people who just want an easier life.

Microwave Rice Cooker - Who can cook rice perfectly in a pan? Like is that actually a thing? I cant lift pans so thats my excuse for not being able to use them. Cook too much? Get stodgy rice? Cannot get it perfect? (Do I sound like a commercial yet?) This little pot of magic will save your life. It telss you how much rice and water to add & how long to microwave it for perfect rice. Its sooo easy even I can do it (although my flatmate did get it wrong once & we have no idea how). Now even if I've been abandoned and am too low on energy to life I can at least bung some rice in the microwave.

Electric Tin Opener - If you don't have one of these in your life WHY NOT. Who has time to wrestle with manual tin openers. Do people still buy them? Is having enough grip to be able to use them humanly possible or just for gorillas? I took mine to uni & everyone used it, even the weird guy that never spoke to us. It took a while for them to understand it & trying to teach them was hilarious. It's not even difficult. Anyway I digress. Just get one. Change your life.

Smoothie Maker - I go through periods of time where eating just doesn't happen. My stomach kicks up a fuss and refuses food because it's an angry lil shit. I'm pretty sure everyone & their gran has one of these now but they are so easy. Just whack in some frozen fruit & some liquid, blitz & then you have a kinda meal for when your stomach hates life.

Microwave Egg Poacher - I've only recently started eating eggs in any way other than scrambled (and in cake obvs). But I am now in love with poached eggs and this little contraption means I don't have to stand by a pan and by me I mean my mum (love you mum). Just crack some eggs into it, microwave and ding poached eggs with zero hassle.

Soup Maker - If you saw my beautifully written Butternut squash soup recipe the other day you will know how much I love this machine. Seriously the best present I have ever got my mum. I am obsessed with soup at the moment. I have it nearly every day and I am still so in love with it. With this magical machine, you just chop up your veg, chuck it in with stock & turn it on. Then 21 mins later you have hot and smooth soupy goodness that is just delicious. Seriously I cannot big this machine up enough. My mum chucks it on when she's getting ready for work & then she takes hot soup with her for lunch (and puts mine aside for when Im actually wake isnt she a star). My only issue with it is its quite heavy but no ones perfect.

Helen also has a chronic pain cookbook which has so much helpful information  as well as easy things to prepare on bad days so you should definitely go and check that out.

What are your must haves in the Kitchen?

New Disney Additions

I missed out on the MAC Cinderella collection online which I'm still not sure if I'm upset about. The only thing I was tempted by was the Royal Ball lipstick and I'm just not sure it would suit me.

But obviously I have still been shopping and have a few new Disney additions. Also one of my friends bought me the super adorable stitch teddy as a late Christmas present and he's so cute.

And here is what I have treated myself to

So first of all, as you may have seen, selected Disney DVDs are buy one get one free in Tesco, Amazon etc. I usually buy mine second hand but with this deal it worked out cheaper for a couple of them so I treated myself to Dumbo & Brave as I also had a money off voucher for Tesco so bargain. I also ordered Atlantis from amazon because I really wanted to watch it and my copy was damaged when I lent it to someone - never again.

Ariel Mug

When I saw the new range of disney princess mugs in the disney store I had to have one. Last time there was a mug I liked I resisted and then it went out of stock and I still mourn the loss of it. It was hard bringing myself to pay £7 for a mug but it has such a good handle for my crappy hands and it's so pretty and I wasn't going to lose this one like the last one. I chose Ariel and it makes me smile every day.

Cinderella Compact Mirror

Last but not least I picked up the Cinderella compact mirror. Now this has had mixed reactions with my family. My mum and my brother hate it but my Dad loves it. Can always count on my Dad to back me up. I think it's really pretty and I desperately needed a new compact. It's nice and sturdy and opens when you push the button so my crappy hands can cope.

Anyone get any of the DVDs with the offer?
