Halloween Films

I love watching films and with a chronic illness it is one of the main things I can actually do without too much pain. Cwtching up on the sofa with a fluffy blanket and a cuppa is probably one of my favourite things in life. You can't really beat it. As we're getting closer to Halloween I thought I'd share my favourite halloween films.

Film Review // Hotel Transylvania 2

If you read my Spectre review you will know that part of my disappointment was that I had really wanted to see Hotel Transylvania instead but it was sold out. Then Spectre let me down and my day was ruined (slight exaggeration).

Well you will be pleased to hear I finally got to see Hotel Transylvania 2 and it was soo much better than Spectre.

Hotel Transylvania 2 review

"Dracula and his friends try to bring out the monster in his half human, half vampire grandson in order to keep Mavis from leaving the hotel."

Hotel Transylvania is one of my favourite films and even made it onto my Top 10 non Disney animated films

I was so excited for this one to come out and like the child I am I stropped when I didn't get to go. Luckily my brother is just as much of a child as me so we had a cinema day last weekend.

This definitely lived up to expectations and I laughed so much. Dennis is such an adorable half human half vampire child and him & Winnie are too cute. Seeing how far Dracula will go to bring out the fangs in Dennis is hilarious and I loved the adapted version of twinkle twinkle little star.

Drac also busts out some epic moves again and Dennis may actually top him in dance ability.

Getting to see Mavis in the human world is also so funny. Although to be fair, I get that excited about different flavour slush puppies too.

Film// Spectre Review

I went to see Spectre last week and I was so disappointed. I love a good action film and even though Im not Daniel Craigs biggest fan James Bond usually delivers.

It doesn’t help that I was all psyched up to see Hotel Transylvania 2 but I forgot it was half term. There were screaming children everywhere and the next 3 screenings were sold out *sob*. Damn children ruining my life. So spectre it was.

spectre review

The main thing I can say about this film was it was just Boring. Like fighting to stay awake boring. There were 3 maybe 4 main scenes which had a load of action and then I can’t really tell you what happened in the in between bits because I honestly can’t remember. Maybe my expectations were just too high.

It seems like they didn't really think through the whole story line.

I hated the fact that the Bond girl went from hating Bonds guts and being all feisty to being head over heels declaring her love for him in about 2 secs. I mean really? They'd only known each other for a day if that. She did rock a red lip though.

Also what the hell was that helicopter scene at the beginning? Thaat was just ridiculous. And Daniel Craig Im sorry but you are looking olllld. Also that girl was young enough to be your daughter. You should be ashamed.

Maybe I need to watch it again with lowered expectations.

New Animated Films// Home & Penguins of Madagascar

So I'm a massive kid and a huge fan of animated films. I'm pretty sure the majority of my extremely large film collection is probably animated including nearly all the Disney films. Dreamworks is definitely competing well with Disney for producing some of my favourite animations. The Road to El Dorado, Shrek, How to Train Your Dragon and The Croods to name a few so I was pretty excited to add to new films to my collection. I may however need my dad to build me some more shelves soon.

Home Review

I've wanted this for ages but as I'm poor I've been waiting for it to come down in price but I just couldn't wait any more. Then the week after I bought it, it dropped by about £3 so you're welcome guys.

At least it was worth a tenner. I've already watched it 3 times so I'm getting my moneys worth. I love it. The way Boovs talk is so damn adorable, everyone should definitely talk like that from now on. It has such a cute story line even though it's about an Alien invasion which separates Mother & Daughter. Tip and Oh become an unlikely pair trying to prevent a second alien invasion whilst finding Tips Mum. Its cute and sad and funny and I love it.

Penguins of Madagascar

Penguins of Madagascar review

My mum thought I was joking when I said I wanted to watch this film so I had to buy it myself. Shocking behaviour. I decided when I had to stay overnight with my brother in hospital it was the perfect excuse to treat ourselves. I love the Madagascar films (third one not so much) and I saw the advert for it on the Home dvd and it made me actually lol so you know it had to happen.

This film has the most adorable start with cute fluffy baby penguins and it is definitely on a par with Madagascar. The one liners are hilarious and Dave the octopus is such an awesome villain. They storyline is also pretty adorable and I just want to hug Private and tell him he's a valued member of my team. Super spy animals and ninja like penguins going against an evil octopus is a winning combination.

Film// Inside Out

Soo much for getting back to my regular posting schedule. However in my crappy body's defence I've been really busy so I can't blame it this time. Last week I had a meeting in Newport and it just so happened to be held at the cinema. Also as luck had it my mum needed my car & I'm not insured on my brothers car so he had to drive me. This meant that as a treat we decided to watch a film when I had finished. As we are both massive kids we went for Inside Out.

inside-out-review

I am a huge Disney & Pixar fan, mainly because I'm such a child and animated films are definitely my favourite. This film is about the different emotions Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear & Disgust that live in our heads. It follows Rileys move to a new place and how our emotions struggle to adjust.

I loved this film and so did my brother. I'm pretty sure I have to take my mum next week as she also really wants to see it. I think anger was my favourite emotion, he was just so funny and reminded me of myself sometimes, not that I'm an angry person. This was such a cool idea for a film and it was really interesting to see how they made the mind work including things such as memories and our personalities and our emotions controlled by the different characters using a control panel. This film also made the viewer feel most of the emotions. There were funny laugh out loud moments, sad moments, happy, scary (Massive terrifying clown which even creeped me out a bit), the list goes on.  There was also some nostalgia about all the things you learn as a kid and do with your family.

I wasn't really a fan of the short film Lava they played at the beginning. It had an annoying song and it was yet again about objects falling in Love. Volcanoes this time wasn't it umbrellas last time? Surely they can come up with a different idea.

If you love Disney Pixar then I would definitely recommend you go see it. I also posted about my top 10 Disney and non Disney films a while ago.

Top 10 Non-Disney Animated Films

I've been slacking in the blogging world again. In my defence though I had my graduation on Friday (outfit post to come) and I've been busy in the build up teaching my brother how to drive which is weird. I feel so old. Also been busy trying to catch some rays. I desperately need a tan.

Back to blogging I did my top 10 Disney films last week so I thought I'd do my top 10 Non-Disney animated films in a quick post

How to Train Your Dragon 1 & 2
Love these films. Hiccup is such an amazing main character. Also I want a pet toothless. He's too cute. I think the second film may even be better than the first now that I am prepared for the sad bit.

Shrek
Who doesn't love Shrek. I mean there's a talking donkey, what isn't to love?
The Road to El Dorado
Such an epic film. Soo much sass. If you haven't seen this film you are missing out.

The Croods
This film is one of my favourites. I just love the animation and the animals that are in it are soo cool.

Robots
This has the best one liners. I cant even pick my fave robot. Maybe Fender, plus his britney impression is the bomb

Happy Feet 2
Definitely better than the 1st although thats still awesome. You cant really beat singing and dancing cute fluffy baby penguins. Plus this got me and my friend through tough times at uni,
Gnomeo & Juliet
This became our hangover film at uni with Elton Johns Hello Hello becoming the song we belted out drunk. This film is genius Who's your Gnomey?

Rio
This was the film I spent all day watching with the worst and last hangover of my uni career. It's such a good film. Rio is such a naive bird and needs a girl to save his butt. So many epic characters.

Hotel Transylvania
What a film. I cannot wait for the second one. Over protective dads are even worse when they are a vampire. All your favourite monsters are there

The Lorax
Dr Seuss films are awesome with the Lorax being one of the best. I want one of the trees in it.

What are your favourites?

Watched in June

So my schedule seems to have gone out the window recently. I've been out pretending I actually have a life. I went out for the most amazing meal, been working with Whizz Kidz and met up with some amazing friends at the West Midlands Safari Park. I've had to have quite a few resst days this week as well so much TV has been watched. As well as these I've also still been watching Hawaii 5 O and I've started Bones again from the start because my mum wanted to watch it. I got her the box set for her birthday because Im a top daughter (Plus I want them too)

The Wild Thornberrys Movie
I used to love this tv show as a kid. I wanted to be Eliza so bad. I mean she can talk to animals, how awesome would that be. I don't think I'd ever seen the movie though so when I saw it was on Netflix it seemed like perfect viewing for my bed day.
It's such a good film. The hunt is on to save the animals, especially a cheetah cup from Poachers. Eliza gets herself into trouble as usual. If you have netflix go watch it.

The Big Wedding
Also on Netflix. I just clicked the first film in my rather long to watch list to accompany me on my rest day. I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed this film. Makes a change from all the action I watch. Its a great comedy about a long divorced couple faking being married for their adopted sons wedding. As can be expected it all goes wrong and there's the predicted drama.

Orange is the New Black
I'm pretty sure the majority of the world has watched OITNB this month however I am seriously slacking and am still only on episode 5. My brother won't let me watch it on my own and I've been so busy this month. However Piper is already pissing me off.

Kingsman
I really don't know how I feel about this film. I loved the storyline but some of the special effects were so bad. Peoples heads exploding like fireworks and the arms being chopped off were worse than kill bill. Samuel L Jacksons accent was also pretty horrific. Who thought that was a good idea. Apart from that though I did really enjoy it. The storyline was really good and I laughed loads. I think I'd probably watch it again and it may be a grower.

The Prince
I do love a good action film. When his daughter is kidnapped, a retired assassin (The Prince) is drawn back into the life he gave up. To rescue her, he must confront his former rival (Bruce Willis). There is a lot of gun fight and why can the bad guys never hit their target even when they have more man power? Was a pretty good action film although I was a little confused between the relationship between the dad and his daughters friend. They seemed a tad too close

Greys Anatomy
I finally got around to watching season 11 and oh my god so many tears. Luckily I was at home on my own so no one was there to witness the mess that was my face. Why would they do that to me. I was no prepared. I think Greys has to be my favourite TV show, hands down.

Watched in May

I've been to the cinema 3 times this month and I actually have time to sit and watch as many films and tv shows as I like (shh dont tell my mum), plus my body has been pretty broken so I haven't had much choice in the matter. So here's what I watched this month

Pretty Woman
I absolutely love this film. Definitely one of my favourites. It would seem my dad also loved it because he pushed me over so he could sit on the edge of my bed and watch the end. Is there actually anyone who hasnt seen this film? Also my parents seem to love the Cinder-fuckin-ella line and laugh too much every time. Its hilarious.

Flashdance
I actually only watched this for the first time ever this month but its safe to say I enjoyed it. Did not realise that it was Bette from The L word that was in it though. The soundtrack was great and the dancing looked like far too much effort but made me a tad jealous. Wish I could move like that. That figure would also be nice.

Little Mermaid: Ariels Beginning.
Cant really go to bed early because your ill without watching a Disney film. Its the rules. Obviously this is no where near as good as the first film but its still fun and I enjoyed watching it. You find out what happened to Ariels mum and how her dad lost his marbles a lil bit. Its a good film to put on if you dont want anything too taxing on the brain

RuPauls Drag Race
I am so addicted to RuPaul. I've only just finished the first series but Im hooked. I loved Ongina in the first one. Such a babe She was awesome. The fierce style and fantabulous eye makeup is made even more magical by the bitchiness. If you haven't seen it you are missing out

Bones
Still completely addicted to this show. I tend to watch a few episodes every night and am now on series 3. If you love forensic shows you need to check this out. I love Andrea and Hodgins and Booth and Bones' relationship is so amusing. There is always such an interesting storyline as well

Furious 7
I saw this in the cinema with my dad (after my mum & brother rudely went to see it without me) and we both totally cried at the end. When that song started there was no hope for me.
As usual this was an amazing film and I loved it just as much as all the others. This one seemed to be more violent with a lot of fist fights but you cant not with the Rock, Jason Statham (babe) and Vin Diesel. All that muscle. Also Jason Statham against the rock seemed like an unfair fight. The ending seemed a bit far fetched with a certain someone surviving the impossible but at least it leaves it open for another film. Still not a fan of Letty though. She just pisses me off for some reason and Dom should have totally stayed with that blonde cop. Pretty sure the Fast & Furious films are my favourite action films and they seem to be the only sequels that get better every time. They wont be the same without Paul Walker but I still cant wait for more.

Avengers: Age of Ultron
Saw this in the cinema for my birthday after eating my body weight in pizza, cake and Pic n Mix. Another film that wasn't as good as the first one but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Not quite sure how they are going to do another one with half the original cast missing, It just wont be the same. However I loved the banter between all the characters in this one and there was comedy as well as action. Bruce and Nat although odd are quite cute and why is there no black widow movie yet. I need it

Rio & Rio 2
These will now forever be known as my hangover films. They saved my life. After finishing my last ever exam and thus completing my degree I went out with some friends and had a few* too many drinks (*I actually lost count). I haven't been that drunk in ages and dont plan on doing it again any time soon. Thanks to the Jagerbombs (totally blaming them) I spent most of the night chillin with my toilet bowl and then the next day was spent in bed clutching an ice lolly watching these films to distract me from my sorry state.

I loved the first film when it came out ages ago and I've been meaning to see the second for a while now so when they were both on offer in Tesco I snatched them up. The first film follows a domesticated rare bird who cant fly and suddenly finds himself lost in Rio with a girl bird (wink wink). Also some people are trying to catch them and sell them so it's all very dramatic. The second film follows them going to the Amazon and discovering more birds and having to save the rainforest. My god I really sell the storylines of these films. Definitely a good film for all those kids film lovers out there and I laughed too much for my state I thought my poor head might explode and there were some really cute bits (as cute as animated birds can be).

Lizzie McGuire Movie
When I discovered this was on Netflix I cheered as much as my hungover state would allow. I then watched it as my hangover blissfully disappeared. Thanks Lizzie. I love all the old school disney and Lizzie McGuire is no exception. She goes to Rome on a school trip, sneaks out, meets a handsome Italian pop star, pretends to be an Italian pop star and has an epic holiday. The ending is still the biggest plot twist of my film career and I will never forgive whats his face (cant remember his name). Still amazes me that they filmed this with only one Lizzie McGuire. Also Hey now was my jam.

I also saw Pitch Perfect 2 in the cinema this month and you can find a full review here

Film// Pitch Perfect 2

I was a huge fan of the first Pitch Perfect film. I've lost count of how many time I've watched it and can pretty much quote it word for word and belt out all the songs with my below average singing voice. So when the 2nd one came out my whole family was pretty excited but none more than my little brother. To say Pitch Perfect is his favourite film is an understatement.

Pitch perfect 2 review

Now this film is definitely not as good as the first one but it is a hard film to beat. However it is a really good film and I loved it and definitely recommend you get your butt to the cinema and go watch it. What are you waiting for?

Buuut I found it was lacking a tad (just a smidge though). The first film is renowned for its one liners and they can be quoted at each other over and over again in every day life (basically what me and my brother do). "Just your old man making a funny" "Get your head out of your ass its not a hat" and my brothers all time favourite because my mum loses her voice a lot so when it comes back he says "God bitch no need to shout" every time without fail. The 2nd film was definitely lacking in one liners. I can't really think of any that stood out but maybe once I watch it more (which I intend to do) some will surface. I also preferred the soundtrack to the first one. The songs weren't as catchy in this film although I do love Flashlight and I have already downloaded the soundtrack because I still intend on belting them out and pretending I can sing. It also followed pretty much the same story line as the first one.

However, I do still love it and will definitely be buying it when it comes out on DVD (gotta add to my rather large dvd collection). It made me actually laugh out loud several times and the girls are all just so funny plus Fat Amy is such a babe. Bumper is back and even weirder than the first film. Also I have a massive crush on Anna Kendrick (who doesnt). Becca & Chloe should totally be a thing though. The story line was a bit predictable but the rivalry between the bellas and the Germans was fabulous. It's an epic film to put on when you need a laugh and cheering up or to watch with your girlfriends stuffing your face with junk food.

My brother hated it and said it ruined a perfectly good film but he has a tendancy to be a tad dramatic. His complaints were he didnt like the German group, there were no one liners and it was boring but he'll get over it. I for one loved it.

Have you seen it yet?

3 May 2015

Watched in April

I've watched quite a lot this month due to being on holiday for a week and having finished my dissertation *happy dance*. So here's what I watched in April

The Quiet Ones
I love a good horror every now and then unfortunately a good horror is hard to find and this was not one of them. The story line had potential but it was just boring and I was constantly waiting and expecting something to happen and it never really did. The ending was the only bit where it really got going and it was totally predictable. We were going to turn it off but just kept hoping it was going to get better.
It’s about a girl who sees a girl called Evie and a researcher who thinks he can cure her with an Experiment and the help of 2 students and a camera man. None of them really believe in the supernatural and all think there is a radical explanation until things start getting weird and people get hurt.

Olympus Has Fallen
Action is probably the genre I watch most often and I love this one plus it has Gerald Butler in. The white house is taken down by Koreans and the President held hostage and the only man in the building who has any chance of saving him is Gerald Butler. Some of their defence systems seem totally stupid and the amount of people that die is ridiculous. Morgan Freeman is also in it as the speaker and who doesn’t love him?

A Most Wanted Man
Another film I wasn’t a fan of. When I saw the trailer for this I thought it looked really good but it’s so slow and quite boring. I can’t actually tell you what happens after the first half hour because I switched off and started browsing twitter and Instagram and now I’m drafting this post whilst it finishes. It’s something about a terrorist in Hamburg and a special terrorist task force I think but I could be wrong. I expected it to be so much better. Quite disappointed.

Stolen

After the 2 bad films we watched I wasn't expecting to like this one either because I'm not Nicholas Cages biggest fan but I was wrong. It's a film about a bank robber who gets caught and when in prison he decides he's going to be a good boy when he comes out. Then one of his old bad friends kidnaps his daughter and threatens to kill her unless he gives him $10 million (which he doesn't have). The ending is kinda predictable. There's some dramatic manly fights (you know the ones) but I really enjoyed it

Delivery Man
I was not expecting to love this film so much. It is so good. It's about a guy who donated to a sperm bank a lot and there was a mix up and he fathered 500 odd children. Over 100 of them now want to know his identity. The story follows him trying to decide whether to come forward and identify himself as their father. It is such a funny and heart warming film and the ending is adorable. I definitely recommend this if you love comedies.

How to Train Your Dragon 2
I love animated films. They make up the majority of my collection and this is one of my favourites. I was prepared for the sad bit this time and didn't cry (Couldn't let my brother hold it against me). My whole family loved this film. There's a huge battle between dragons and a guy who is building a dragon army (seems a bit drastic) and it's very tense. I would sa
y that I may even prefer this to the first one. How are Dreamworks so good at sequels.

Secret Diary of A Call Girl
I went round a friends house to cat sit (wait for a parcel, the cats were an extra) and ended up just sprawling on her sofa because we don't have one in halls. I drank her tea, did some work and watched 2 seasons of this. Very productive day. It's really good and I love Billie in it. The storyline is so good and it's nice to see the story from the point of view of someone who chooses to be an Escort because she loves the job. I have the next 2 seasons to watch next time I have a lazy day.

Private Practice
Once again been watching this whilst working. I still need to catch up on Grey's but this is on Netflix so for now I will use this to get my fix. Its so full of drama but I love that they put in interesting medical cases as well as the drama of the Drs. Although I'm really starting to dislike a few of the Drs now (Naomi I'm looking at you).

Bones
I discovered this on Netflix the other day and why have I not watched this before. I have now nearly finished season 1 a few days later. Who said I have to revise? It's another crime series (I can't get enough of them) but its a follows a forensic anthropologist and her team helping out the FBI. Bones, the anthropologist, is super clever and struggles to act around people because she just says whatever she's thinking. I love the chemistry of the team and how they all work together and I love the relationship between Bones and Booth (FBI guy). It's also really interesting seeing how they found out the identity and cause of death from a skeleton and all the different science they use. If you love crime and science you have to watch this.

What have you guys been watching?

Film// Cinderella

This was supposed to be posted on Sunday but I got too excited about the zoo and forgot to schedule it to you can have an extra one this week.

As mentioned in my Cinderella themed nails post I went to the cinema to see Cinderella last week and oh my god that dress. I need it. The blue, the sparkles, the twirl.

Lily James was such a good choice for Cinderella and her mum was an amazing match. I loved Cate Blanchette as Lady Tremaine her, and her dresses were fabulous plus she was pretty terrifying and rocked a red lip. The ugly sisters were excellent and not over the top and oh my god Helena Boneham Carter made a fantabulous Fairy Godmother. She suited the roll so well.

I really enjoyed this film and it was nice to see the classic Cinderella story played out so well. I would say that small Children may get a bit bored but it's great for adults that grew up with these films and still love Disney. It follows the same storyline as the classic and there are some potential tear jerkers. I would say it would have been epic if they had put in the bibbidi bobbidi boo song though. That was my favourite as a kid. I still prefer the recent Maleficent film though.

Favourite Kids Films

After announcing on twitter that I wouldn't be joining the #bbloggers chat because I was watching How to train your dragon instead I ended up multitasking because I couldn't stay away. I then got chatting to Katie from K Nel about our favourite Kids films and how being a big kid and the oldest in the cinema without kids is always fun. I mean if the kids don't stare at you because you're laughing too loud you're doing it wrong. We then decided to do a collab on our favourite kids films so go check hers out too.

I'm pretty sure kids films are the biggest section of my very large film collection. They're easy to arch and usually pretty funny and I love the gorgeous animations. I also find they are a,asking for when I'm ill and can't really concentrate on much but need distracting.

Top 3 Disney

1. Princess & the Frog - This film is hugely underrated in my opinion. I mean it has a jazz playing alligator and a red neck glow fly what more could you want. I love everything about this film (minus what happens to ray - which may even be sadder than Lion King) and it's my go to film to cheer me up when I'm ill. Plus everyone needs a friend like Lottie, how awesome is she.

2. Lion King - One of the classics. Everyone loves this film minus the whole Mufasa bit which makes me cry every time. Timon & Pumba are the coolest adoptive parents ever and the songs are so catchy. Can't wait to be king is always belted out at our pre-drinks

3. Hercules - One of the sassiest films of all time. Hades is such a sassy guy, I love him. The songs in this film are also amazing. I have them all and sing along in the car every time like a true adult.

Top 3 Non- Disney

1. Shrek 1 & 2 - but if I had to choose just one then probably 2. Its one of those films that gets better as you get older. So many hidden jokes for the older people. Also, Donkey is such a babe. I need a talking donkey in my life.

2. How to train your Dragon - Pet dragons are life. I need a pet toothless. Hiccup is the best hero ever. Clumsy just like me. Plus badass girl taking charge of the situation and riding dragons. Also, Vikings are like Pirates and really couldn't care if you're disabled, it just makes you more badass. I haven't seen 2 yet but I do have it so this will be rectified soon and I've heard its also amazing.

3. The Road to El Dorado - This film is epic. Tulio & Miguel end up in El Dorado and are mistaken for Gods which they try and keep up, with difficulty. Their banter and obsession with gold is hilarious. There should definitely have been a sequel.

What are your favourite kids films?

Recently Watched

Orphan
This film was soo so much better than I expected. Definitely in my top horror/thriller films. Looking at the cover I expected it to be a possessed child but it was so much better than that. This is such a tense film while Kate tries to convince her husband something isn't right with the 9yr old girl they adopt but no one believes her. There is something evil about her but she's so convincing as an angelic child when she wants to be. Kate has to try and convince everyone that she's evil before it's too late. I also adore the little girl max, she's such a cutie. Definitely recommend if you love a good thriller.

Ru Pauls Drag Race
I've seen people raving about this everywhere and when I couldn't sleep the other night and needed distracting I decided to give it a go and oh my god I love it. These drag queens are so fabulous and it's soo much better than Americas Next Top Model.

Just Go With It
I've seen this before but needed a chick flick I didn't need to concentrate on when I couldn't sleep. I love Jennifer Aniston and Adam Sandler. Danny pretends to be married to get laid but then he falls for the girl of his dreams and tells her that his assistant (Jen) is his soon to be ex wife. He then ends up creating even more lies and getting himself into trouble. Its typical chick flick with a predictable ending but it's so funny, the kids in it make me laugh and watching them try to keep up with the lies is amusing bordering on cringey, Also Jen has a banging body and I'm stupidly jealous.

Maleficent
I've seen some people hate this and others love it and I am definitely in the love it category. I adored this film. Angelina Jolie looked A-Mazing and I loved the story. Seeing a different side of the story and finding out why Maleficent was so bad ass was awesome. I know a lot of people wanted her to be bad just because she was evil but I preferred this story. I wasn't a massive fan of the 3 faeries though. They stupidity kinda annoyed me.

Bounty Hunter
Another Jennifer Aniston film with the added bonus of Gerald Butler. Milo is a bounty hunter who gets a call to bring in his ex wife which makes his day. She's a reporter on the brink of a huge story though so soon shakes him off chasing a lead with him chasing her until they both end up running for their lives. This is romance, comedy and action rolled into one and I love it.

The Originals
I loved the Vampire Diaries but I dunno I've kinda gone off it a bot at the moment but I loved Klaus and his siblings so when I saw this on Netflix I thought I'd give it a go. I think I may actually love this more than TVD. I love Hayley and all the sibling rivalry and as usual there's lots of drama, betrayal and tension between the vampires and everyone else. Klaus tries to hide his softer side. Marcel is rather attractive and Rebekah is a bad ass as usual.
