I am a huge fan of the darker nail colours. I pretty much rock black all year round so those autumnal tones are my jam. I love the berry, grey and purple shades. I cannot get enough. So I thought I'd share with you my favourite darker shades ready for autumn because I definitely don't wear these all year round. Nope not me.
I didn't realise that a few of these aren't sold anymore which is just truly heartbreaking but there are soo many gorgeous dark shades out there so I'm sure I'll find more to add to my ever growing collection.
Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Enamel - Violine Hypnotique - This is such a gorgeous burgundy shade with a stunning shimmer. When the light hits it it just sparkles but it's not too over the top . It's also easier to take off than other chunkier glitters. The wide brush also makes it one of the easiest polishes to apply and it dries nice and glossy.
Barry M Gelly Hi Shine - Sparkling Amethyst - Another one with sparkle. This one is a stunning purple with some blue specks. It's dark and sparkly. What more could you want? I love Barry M polishes which you may have gathered from this list.
Barry M Speedy Nail Paint - Dragster - Speedy nail paints are perfect for me because I always paint my nails late at night and get the dreaded duvet print. This dark grey is perfect when you want to have a change from black but don't wanna go too crazy.
Rimmel Salon Pro By Kate Nail Polish - Punk Rock - I picked this up in B&M and I adore it. It applies soo nicely and it's so different from any colours I own. Its a purple grey and it's just perfect to team with a chunky grey cardigan
Barry M Speedy Nail Paint - Sprint Finish - This pomegranate is one of my favourite burgundy shades.
Barry M Nail Paint - Red Wine - This is one of the brighter shades and I seem to skip it in favour of the darker colours a lot. However, when I pick it I love it
Barry M Nail Paint - Red Black - Hands down one of my favourite darker shades. Unfortunately it needs 3 coats to be opaque so I'm looking for an alternative. It's just such a perfect shade and the one I reach for most. It's a very dark red and it just looks so good on.
Azature Nail Lacquer - Azature Champagne - This is the most expensive nail polish I own. I got it in a beauty box and I love it. It goes with so many of my polishes. I use it as an accent nail for black and burgundy shades the most. Perfect Christmas day nail. Soo much sparkle.
Barry M Nail Paint - Grey - This one is lighter than Dragster but still great for switching up the black. I am obsessed with grey. Seriously all my clothes seem to be grey at the moment.
